Sami Al-Arian Acquitted!
December 6, 2005: Sami Al-Arian Acquitted of Key Charges!
Today is a great victory for our community and the struggle for justice. A jury has acquitted Professor Sami Al-Arian, a Palestinian American, on key charges. Professor Al-Arian now awaits the decision of the prosecutors on whether or not to retry him on the deadlocked charges.
The NCA welcomes this significant development. Professor Al-Arian's determination is an example of how staying the course of justice alone suffices. We encourage our community, friends and supporters to demand his immediate release along with all those charged with him.
