The Sabra Shatila Campaign
The Sabra Shatila Campaign has been started by Christof Lehmann, a survivor of the Sabra and Shatila Massacre in Beirut 1982, a German citisen and Psychologist.The campaign was started in order to:
Work for the regular commemoration of the massacre onn an international level. and for working on the establishment and maintainance of self help groups for survivors as well as psychosocial treatment for survivors and their relatives.
Political Orientation and Work
The campaign is independant of any political party, group or orientation. It is seeking cooperation with any other individual or group of individualss, working for the benefit of the survivors of the Sabra Shatila Massacre, or for the rights of Palestinian people in general. It also is seeking cooperation with all other progressive organisations and individs, working on humanitarian, political and cultural issues, oriented towards civil rights, human rights, the rights of oppressed people and cultures in general.
